Software for defence intelligence and deployed analysis.
Defence programme teams, intelligence leads and delivery partners need to evaluate source handling, geospatial workloads and controlled review within the proposed operating boundary.
Match the task to the capability
Assess CORTEX for requirements, evidence and reviewed reports; NERVE for approved source ingestion and discovery; GTK 2.0 for imagery and geospatial exploitation. In a Foundry-based application estate, PAL.NET serves a separate .NET engineering requirement. Product selection should follow the work package.
Describe enterprise and deployed constraints
Specify hardware, storage, identity, protective handling and expected connectivity. A local installation and a deployed team workflow can have different dependencies. Confirm source import, updates, report export and any synchronisation across operating boundaries.
Build an acceptance plan
Use an approved intelligence question, a representative source collection and named reviewer roles. Test a denied-access case, recover a source citation and inspect a released report’s history. For GTK, add target-hardware ingest and disconnected exploitation tests. Record unsupported inputs and engineering gaps.
Settle procurement and assurance
Identify the technical authority, supplier interfaces, licence requirement and assurance evidence needed for the environment. No UK MOD endorsement, NATO approval or blanket handling-level accreditation is implied. AIC’s official product descriptions are the factual baseline, subject to release-specific review.
